My route ranges from busy two lane each way streets and highways to a recreational path along a river and a road along a lake in a state park. There is even a good climb or two.

Your year around vs summer only selections are too limiting. I ride about eight months a year, though late fall and late winter often have weather that limits my choices. I don't like ice on my route or rain in near freezing temperatures.
