It's pretty easy. I go a half mile to the main street that goes into town. I have a bus lane for about two miles & then it is three lanes the rest of the way. Then once I get past downtown. I turn on a bike path which goes for about 2 mile south and goes right within a quarter mile from work.
I work for the Pima County Sheriff Dept manning the front desk at the Adult Detention center.
The best thing about riding my bike is being able to enjoy the smells of nature.
