To work and back rain, hail, or night. Roads are good if you know how motorists will treat you. During work the rest of the office will use company cars, but I bike it. Weekends I will go to the local suburbs that put "bulk waste" onto footpaths to be picked up by the local council during the week. Many bicycles in perfect condition can be found. I usually redistribute the bikes from back streets to the main roads. Then other people passing by main roads pick them up. Otherwise they would be left to the back streets,l picked up by council and lost forever.
