Commutes 30 Miles RoundTrip for 7 years and months
Seven days a week, my bike is my primary transportation Year Round

75% of my daily commute is on the local roads while the remaining 25% is on the Pinellas Trail. I truly enjoy using the trail since it has a much smoother surface, water founatins, overpasses at dangerous intersections, and is well patrolled and maintained by the Park Department. I would love to have more trails to use. Trails encourage commuters to seriously consider bicycles as an alternative form of transportation.

Male, mid 30's, work in the healthcare industry, father of 5 year old daughter.I volunteer and donate to an assortment of bicycle related causes (such as Rails to Trails, and the American League of Bicyclists. I also give away maps of the Pinellas Trail, locks, water bottles, lights, tubes, sunscreen, bandages, poor directions (well, I am a male after all!), etc etc to fellow cyclists and local kids.

I have enjoyed cycling throughout my lifetime from the newspaper route I had as a young child in South Miami through to the 20 years of living in rural areas of Northern Colorado, right through to the last 7 years of using bicycles as my only form of transportation for commuting to work, running errands, doing chores, shopping, recreational use, etc.etc.

Best of luck on your next ride!!!
