Commutes 3.5 Miles Oneway for 10 years and months
Five Days a week, I use my bike to travel to and from work Year Round

A mixture of streets and parks: about 80% parks, I think. Foster & Central Park, down Carmen to a bike path behind a school, a footbridge that crosses the North Branch of the Chicago River, down Carmen to River Park East, through Ronan Park, down Manor to California Park, through this park to Revere Park, and then to Bradley and Campbell!

60's, slightly overweight, and I smoke! I have a Trek 720 hybrid, which I use for both commuting and touring. I figure this way: it takes roughly 20 minutes to ride the bike, 10 minutes to drive. So twice a day, I get to take a 20 minute ride that only takes 10 minutes. It's about the only excersize I get! More in the temperate months, less in the winter months.
