Commutes 1.5 Miles RoundTrip for 1 years and 3 months
Seven days a week, my bike is my primary transportation Year Round

I started bicycle commuting a little over a year ago and fell in love with the bicycle. Being a perpetual student (I'm in my 5th year as a graduate student) has kept me dirt poor and was the initial impetus for commuting by bicycle. However, even if/when things change economically for me, I don't plan on quitting utility cycling. Besides commuting to and from work/school, I also use my bike to get groceries (a BOB trailer helps), drop off recycling, and carry just about anything. In addition, my bike is also there for recreation (e.g., trips to the throw a frisbee with friends. Not all cycling experiences have to be of the "sport" variety (e.g., road racing, mountain biking). Using a bicycle for utility purposes/commuting can be very fun!
