Quite country roads to from Exeter, NH to Newburyport, Ma. Generally flat with a few rolling hills. The route varies depending on the day of the week and the season, but plenty of options with only a few moderate traffic roads. Generally ride 3 to 4 days a week on average throughout the year, more in the warm months and less in the cold months.
Weekend warrior, racing both semi-pro MTB and cat 3 road. Started bike commuting to find a way to train without taking away from family time. I'm fortunate to have a supportive family and work enviroment with shower facilities at work.
Don't let the weather and darkness stop your bike commuting. Get a good lighting system and have a back-up or cell phone always ready. Always pack your clothes in a water-tight plastic bag to fit in your backpack...even if the pack is quote water resistan
